Using AOL Proxy

Created: Saturday, 17 August 2013 Written by Ehab Eldeeb

The Aim of this article

The aim of this article is to teach you how to use "AOL Proxy"
This is just like Hot Spot Shield, but the drawback of HSS is that it places many ads on your browser

AOL is a clean proxy that can be used to bypass any blocking

Examples of blocks:
- Some Schools block students from accessing specific websites
- Some Colleges/Universities block students as well (example: AAST)
- Some "whole" countries block specific websites from the citizens (example: KSA)

Now, I will teach you how to bypass this block, and visit ANY website on the internet

First thing we have to do:

  • Click continue on the next screen

  • Write any name that you would prefer

  • Click Save
  • Login with Normal Broadband Connection
  • Log out
  • Re-Login with the new connection that you have just created
(I don't know why, but if you didn't do this step, it might not work)
  • Congratulations, you're now Proxy-ed
  • Open your browser and enjoy the proxy :)
